Rhetorica Director Robert Young becomes the largest
winner to date of America's favorite TV word game
'Super Password'.
The idea to form a company based on vocabulary,
language and communcations - which later becomes Rhetorica GmbH - is born.
'Super Password' is an English language vocabulary-based
game in which contestants compete against each to
correctly define and decipher words.

Lightning strikes twice! Rhetorica founder Robert Young wins big in an additional TV Game Show.
2002-2012
Pharamceutical, IT and Automation Corporate language
groups consistently identify 'speaking in meetings, on
the telephone and video conferences' as the most difficult
part of doing business in English.
Introduction of the interactive conversation and meeting-
based method of teaching Business English which later
becomes 'The Rhetorica Method'.
Creation of the first 'Lesson Log', the unique written document produced by the teacher during each lesson which records
the actual speaking errors of students and combines them
with the corrections and targeted grammatical and usage tips.
Continuous development and refinement of the method and the Lesson Log through on-the-ground corporate group training.

a comprehensive language learning site that combines
individual Lesson Logs with an entire Business English
skills library.
Go-live of the e-Lesson Log: a refined, interactive version
of the Lesson Log. Students, teachers and authorized
managers have easy access to Lesson Logs 24/7 from
any internet connected device.
Addition of the Rhetorica Business Writing Section of
Rhetorica.world. Students complete their business writing
assignments online. Teachers correct and post corrections
to the student's account in an innovative format, allowing
students to see mistakes and corrections side by side.
Introduction of Student Progress Reports: students receive
personalized feedback not only on their language skills, but
also on a variety of business-related skills, including overall
communications skills, pronunciation, fluency, usage,
vocabulary and others.
Introduction of Manager's Reports: an industry first. Managers
of students in company courses receive regular consolidated
Progress Reports on all groups and individuals in easy to
read reports, allowing an unprecedented monitoring of
